The AR experience

A training space where people make you feel comfortable and motivated – an always welcoming community.

We have a tight and super friendly coaching team and pay the highest respect to each individuals’ movement patterns, training level, ability, goals and character.

You don’t have to lift what the person next to you does, you don’t have to smash through every workout - there’s no judgement. All that’s required is your best effort for the day.

Need-to-knows

  • We suggest arriving 10 minutes prior to your class time. While we include a warm up at every session, our focus is to ensure you get as much workout time as possible. Come in early, have a chat with the crew and make yourself at home before class begins.

  • Our classes vary each day. Featuring goal-based strength + fitness programming, our weekly schedule alternates between lower and upper body focused days, with two whole body conditioning-only days.

    We suggest kicking things off on a Monday, Tuesday and/or Thursday to get a really good grasp of how we like to do group training, connect with a Coach + get a vibe for the community. Then go all in and mix + match classes throughout your intro.

  • Please bring your own water bottle and sport towel. We have everything else you need to have an awesome session, although your own skipping rope, hand grips and lifting belt are encouraged.

  • Our training methods, programming terminology and workout formats may not be grasped from the get go. And that’s ok – we don’t expect it to.

    Don’t give up, give it a good crack. We want you to feel welcome no matter your training ability or experience. Our community will be right by your side every step of the way. Let us show you the ropes so we can get you moving and feeling good.

  • If you're new to strength work or are just getting back into training, you may feel a little sore - a very normal muscle response when starting a new program.

    Don't stress, our carefully designed program allows you to work a different movement pattern in the days following. And our Coaches are well equipped to adjust the workout so you stay within your limits.

    We also suggest some active recovery – walking, a light jog + our Mobility Move class on Thursday.

  • Fill us in on what’s been going on and let’s get you moving in a way that feels good. Our Coaches are qualified in their field and will guide you through your training with whatever niggle you may have.

    And if you have a niggle that prevents you from performing a certain movement, we can definitely provide alternatives. i.e running - we are more than happy for you to jump on a bike instead.

  • While some movements might seem hard or intimidating at first, we’ll coach you through it. Helping you to feel comfortable is our priority and if there is a certain movement that you don't feel good with, we'll adjust to something you do. We wont force you to do anything you're not comfortable with.
